Review: It is always refreshing seeing an actor take on a role opposite to what he is known for, and though Kevin Hart retains most of his character trademark, his link up with Dwayne Johnson in Central Intelligence is epic. Of course there are rib cracking moments in the movie, and while seeing Dwayne Johnson being the unserious fellow is refreshing itself, you get the feeling that the two main characters carry the movie along based on their reputation. Central Intelligence will get you laughing but you get that feeling that something is amiss, which you realize at the end of the movie that the plot is unconvincing and an attempt at a knockoff of a comedy and action movie. If you are a fan of Kevin Hart, you will realize that this isn’t his best performance but like I said, its refreshing seeing Kevin step out his usual repertoire and give his fans a new Kevin.
