David Ayer the director of the movie suicide squad in response to critics review on the movie suicide squad to be released in the coming month said he “made it for the fans”. The director of comic book film Suicide Squad has shrugged off its bad reviews, taking to his Twitter page to say” I love the movie and believe in it,” and called it the “best experience of my life”. The movie has been criticized by Screen Daily bashing its “mediocre storytelling… reliance on ghastly CGI and overblown stylistic flourishes”.
The movie which portrays villains forced to fight for good – got more love from Empire, who called it “a real hoot”.
Dan Jolin in his four-star review wrote “Suicide Squad gives new life to DC’s big-screen universe,”
Todd McCarthy said in The Hollywood Reporter “Suicide Squad assembles an all-star team of supervillains and then doesn’t know what to do with them,”.
Digital Spy’s Rosie Fletcher is of the opinion that the film was “boring and unfunny”, features “bland fights and shootouts” and is “not very good”.
The movie Suicide Squad, which premiered in London on Wednesday, currently has a 35% rating on reviews aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes.
