POPULAR SINGER BANKY W PITCHES TENT WITH NEW SCHOOL MARRIAGE

Who would have thought the word ‘cooking’ would be showered with a lot of attention like it has been recently. It all started earlier this month when the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A Adeboye was filmed in a video that went viral advising men in his congregation against marrying a partner who can’t pray for at least an hour and a woman who can’t cook.

The statement received a lot of attention for days and divided opinions with some seeing nothing wrong in the statement while others saw Pastor Adeboye’s words as insulting to summarise a woman’s wife qualities down to her cooking. Celebrities were also not left out in the battle of the new school (women don’t compulsorily have to know how to cook) vs. old school (women must know how to cook).

In the midst of all the raging talks about cooking one man who has gladly pitched his tent with the new school is popular artiste and EME label boss Banky W. Speaking on the matter long before Pastor Adeboye’s viral video, Banky W said: “I cook. My wife doesn’t need to know how to cook. I actually enjoy it.”

Banky W is undoubtedly one of the most eligible bachelors in the entertainment industry as he is not married yet however he certainly has an idea of the woman he wants to settle down with and it is certain cooking is not part of the criteria involved. To all bachelors out there, the question now is does your wife need to know how to cook or would you prefer doing the cooking and to the spinsters out there, would you prefer being the only one with culinary skills in the house or would you prefer that you and your hubby share kitchen duties together?
